Raducanu withdraws from Miami Open due to illness
Emma Raducanu's stuttering start to 2026 continued as she has withdrawn from the Miami Open due to illness.
Emma Raducanu will not be competing at the Miami Open as she recovers from illness.
The 2021 US Open champion, who has not won a WTA Tour-level title since that triumph at Flushing Meadows, has won seven and lost seven matches in 2026.
She lost in just 52 minutes to Amanda Anisimova at the Indian Wells Open earlier this month.
However, Raducanu will not be featuring at the second event of the Sunshine Swing.
The 23-year-old reached the quarter-finals in Miami last season.
Raducanu is scheduled to return to the Tour in Linz in April.
