Opta’s Supercomputer Changes the Favorites to Win the Champions League in This Quarter-Final Round
The Opta statistics favorites made a comeback to predict who will advance in the UEFA Champions League
The predictions of the supercomputer
The Opta supercomputer has already provided us with new information about these UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, as well as new predictions on who will advance to the next round and continue in the race for the coveted trophy and eternal glory.

Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid
The first matchup that the supercomputer chose to predict is Bayern Munich against Real Madrid, a match that already took place in the first leg, where the Spanish team fell to the German titans 2-1 with a great performance from Neuer and the offensive trident that Kompany has managed to assemble and train. Opta gives Bayern Munich a 64.5% chance of success in this round against Real Madrid, who only have a 35.5% chance.

Arsenal vs Sporting
On the other hand, Opta's supercomputer predicts that Arsenal has about a 77.7% chance of advancing to the semifinals of this UEFA Champions League, while their rival, Sporting Club de Lisboa, was only rated with a 22.3% chance. In the first leg, when Sporting played at home against the 'Gunners,' they lost narrowly and will have to either draw or try to come back if they want to break the predictions, although for now, they are following what Opta predicted.
Barcelona vs Atlético de Madrid
In one of the most entertaining branches of this quarterfinals of the top European competition, we can see Barcelona against Atlético de Madrid. In this case, Opta's supercomputer gives an advantage to Hansi Flick's Barcelona over Cholo Simeone's team. Opta predicts a 68% chance of advancement for the Catalan team, while the Colchoneros have a 62% chance. In the first leg, however, Atlético secured an away victory with two goals and a clean sheet, making it difficult for Flick's team to make a comeback.

Paris Saint-Germain vs Liverpool
And last but not least, another dream match, Liverpool against Paris Saint-Germain, the supercomputer predicts that Luis Enrique's Parisian team has a 59.6% chance of winning the match and advancing in this stage. While Liverpool was only given a 40.4% chance. The first leg ended 2-0 in favor of the home team, Paris Saint-Germain.
The biggest club competition at the European level is still underway, and it remains to be seen which teams will become the top four in the tournament.
