Manchester City concede a scorpion kick goal and almost handed the Premier League title to Arsenal
Manchester City suffered a massive blow in the Premier League title race after drawing 2-2 against Tottenham on Matchday 24
Manchester City suffered a massive blow in the Premier League title race after drawing 2-2 against Tottenham on Matchday 24, a result that may have handed a decisive advantage to Arsenal, now six points clear at the top of the table.
Dominic Solanke’s scorpion kick stuns the Premier League
Just when it seemed Pep Guardiola’s side had the match under control, Dominic Solanke produced a moment of pure magic. After a perfectly weighted cross from Conor Gallagher, the striker scored a sensational scorpion kick in the 70th minute, rescuing a point for Spurs and shocking Manchester City.
City had dominated the first half, with goals from Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo, a performance that even triggered boos from Tottenham fans at halftime inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

A very different second half
The match turned after the break. An own goal by Marc Guéhi shifted the momentum and exposed City’s struggles, as Guardiola’s team failed to regain control in a tense final stretch.
Premier League standings after the draw
Following the draw, Manchester City remain second with 47 points, one ahead of Aston Villa, but six behind league leaders Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Tottenham sit 14th with 29 points, nine clear of the relegation zone.
