An unthinkable comeback by Strasbourg, who sealed the victory in three minutes through Kevin Gameiro and Andrey Santos, ended Metz's hopes of salvation. The latter team let slip the victory they had in hand at the start of the second half, thanks to a goal by Georgian Georges Mikautdze (1-2).
