Noah Nartey Shines on His First Start
The standout story of the night was the performance of Noah Nartey, who made his first start for Lyon after joining the club on January 19 from Brøndby. The 20-year-old Danish midfielder made the most of his opportunity, scoring the only goal of the match and announcing himself in French football.
The decisive moment came in the 37th minute, when Dutch fullback Ruben Kluivert made a brilliant run down the left flank and delivered a cutback into the box. Nartey arrived perfectly and finished first-time to beat the Lille goalkeeper, sending the Groupama Stadium into celebration.
