United Is Clear: It Will Not Negotiate Rashford
Marcus Rashford has had a strong season at FC Barcelona. During his loan spell, the English forward has regained a competitive version of his game and has become an important impact player for the team. Hansi Flick highly values him and would have convinced Joan Laporta to try to negotiate his continuity with Manchester United. However, from Old Trafford the stance is firm: there is no intention to negotiate.
According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United is not willing to reduce or negotiate the player’s price, valued at around €30 million, and expects his return for next season. In England, his progress has been closely monitored, and the coaching staff considers him a useful piece in the squad’s planning.
FC Barcelona out of the race and new contenders emerge
Even so, his future at Manchester United is not completely guaranteed. What is clear is that the club will not accept another loan deal or flexible formulas such as player exchanges. If FC Barcelona wants to keep Marcus Rashford, they will have to complete a permanent transfer under the conditions set by the English club, something that currently looks difficult due to the Blaugrana’s financial situation.
Joan Laporta would try to negotiate a price reduction, but the response from Manchester is firm: anyone who wants Marcus Rashford must pay his full value. This effectively puts FC Barcelona out of the race, forcing them to explore other options in the market.

In this context, new interested parties are emerging. Juventus FC is looking to strengthen its attack and sees the English forward as an attractive option for its wings. The “Vecchia Signora” would have the financial capacity to complete the deal and could strongly enter negotiations if it decides to move for the player.
Everything points to Marcus Rashford spending his final months as a FC Barcelona player. Despite his strong performances and the club’s intention to retain him, financial reality weighs too heavily. At the Camp Nou, alternatives will have to be found to reinforce the attack, while the Englishman’s future once again lies in the hands of Manchester United and the clubs capable of meeting their financial demands.
