Lamine Yamal Back in Training with Barcelona!
Barcelona forwards Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres have returned to full training after recovering from their respective injuries. Yamal, who missed the last three matches due to a right ankle injury, and Torres, sidelined with a biceps femoris muscle strain in his right thigh, trained alongside their teammates on Thursday.
Both players are expected to receive medical clearance in the coming days and could feature in the squad for LaLiga EA Sports' clash against Las Palmas this Saturday.
Following Barcelona’s 3-0 victory over Brest in the Champions League, coach Hansi Flick suggested that Lamine Yamal might get some minutes against Las Palmas. This would mark Yamal’s return to competitive action and provide a boost to the team’s attacking options.
Ronald Araujo Also Back on the Pitch
In other positive news for the Blaugrana, defender Ronald Araujo has made significant progress in his recovery. The Uruguayan is in the final stages of rehab from a hamstring tendon rupture sustained during the Copa América last summer. Araujo participated in part of the training session at the same pace as his teammates, signaling his imminent return.
Additionally, Barça B players Ander Astralaga and Guillermo Fernández joined the session at the Joan Gamper Training Center, contributing to a productive day for the squad as they prepare for the weekend’s fixture.
