Argentine forward Francisco “El Polaco” Fydriszewski scored the goal that gave Deportivo Independiente Medellín (DIM) a 2–1 victory over Juventud de Las Piedras this Thursday, securing their place in the Copa Libertadores group stage.

In the second leg of the third qualifying round, played at the Atanasio Girardot Stadium in Medellín after a 1–1 draw in the first leg, the Colombian side claimed the win with goals from forward Hayen Palacios and Fydriszewski, while full-back Federico Barrandeguy scored the temporary 1–1 for the Uruguayan team.
