Shock Move! Manchester United Stuns with an Offer for Endrick
Manchester United has made a surprise move in the transfer market by submitting an offer for Endrick, the young Real Madrid talent who is going through a difficult spell under Xabi Alonso. The Brazilian striker, who has barely featured this season, is seeking a temporary move in January to regain playing time and keep his hopes alive of making Brazil’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.
According to The Standard, the Red Devils have made an approach to secure the forward on loan amid concerns over Benjamin Šeško’s fitness, after the striker suffered a knee injury in the recent Premier League clash against Tottenham. Although medical tests ruled out serious damage, Rúben Amorim’s coaching staff is reportedly open to strengthening the attack during the upcoming transfer window.
Endrick’s Struggles at Real Madrid
Since joining Real Madrid in the summer of 2024 from Palmeiras, the young Brazilian has yet to establish himself. In his debut season under Carlo Ancelotti, he made 37 appearances across all competitions but only totaled 847 minutes. With Xabi Alonso’s arrival, his situation has worsened — he has played just one official match this season, hampered by injuries and stiff competition from Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo Goes in the attacking line.
Alonso himself admitted that the forward “is training well and ready to play, but the right moment hasn’t come yet.” However, as the season progresses and opportunities remain scarce, Endrick is now seriously considering a loan move to regain rhythm and boost his chances of making Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for the World Cup.
Ancelotti Advises Endrick to Seek Playing Time
Current Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti has been one of the first to suggest a change of scenery for the youngster. Speaking to Placar, the Italian coach said:
“I spoke with him at the beginning of the season. He’s fine now, and he needs to think with his team about what’s best — talk with the club and find what suits him. He’s very young and will have more opportunities.”
The coach, who knows the player well, remains confident in his long-term potential:
“He has the quality to play in the 2026 World Cup, but also in 2030, 2034, or even 2038. What matters is that he plays again and shows his talent.”
For now, Lyon has also emerged as a potential destination for the Brazilian on loan, while Manchester United continues to explore ways to convince Real Madrid to let the youngster leave temporarily.
Amid growing rumors and speculation, Endrick’s future has become one of the hottest topics of the upcoming winter transfer window. If the move materializes, the Brazilian could finally have the chance to prove — away from the Bernabéu — that his talent still belongs among football’s elite.
