The defining moment came unexpectedly. According to his account, Diego Armando Maradona saw an interview of his on television and decided to call him directly, inviting him to dinner that very night. What could have been a dream moment was instead filled with uncertainty.

Maradona Jr. admitted he felt nervous and even afraid before the meeting, unsure of how his father would react after so many years apart. However, the outcome turned out to be very different from what he had imagined.
