Real Madrid has set its sights on Arsenal's William Saliba as they look to strengthen their defense.

With key players David Alaba and Éder Militão sidelined due to injuries, the Spanish giants have turned to the Premier League in search of defensive solutions.

According to L'Express, despite Madrid's interest, Saliba is not expected to leave Arsenal, as the French international is reportedly happy in London and not considering a move to Spain. 

Given this, Real Madrid is exploring alternative options, including Cristian Romero, who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur.

Real Madrid is keen to bolster its defensive line to maintain its competitiveness throughout the season, particularly following the loss of two of their main defenders.
