Leverkusen Offer Free Tattoos for Historic Season
Bayer Leverkusen is having a historic season in every sense of the word. Not only did the club win the Bundesliga for the first time in its history, but they also achieved a record-breaking undefeated streak.
After surpassing Benfica's 49-game record (1963-1965), managed by Xabi Alonso, the club decided to give a very special gift to all its fans: free tattoos to immortalize this historic season.
Following their draw with Roma in the Europa League Semifinals second leg (which secured their spot in the final), the team released a statement inviting fans to "book an appointment to immortalize this unique season on your skin" until the end of the season.
42 minutes after the announcement, Leverkusen reported that all tattoo appointments were fully booked. However, fans will have another chance to take advantage of this unusual gift at the games against Augsburg and the Fan Fest in Berlin on May 25th.
