How and Where to Watch Mali vs Tunisia at the AFCON 2025 on beIN SPORTS
Mali and Tunisia met in the Last 16 in what is set to be a close clash for AFCON 2025 survival
Saturday’s second game in the AFCON 2025 Round of 16 is a genuine too close-to-call match-up between two proven continental performers. Mali and Tunisia are going head-to-head in Casablanca in a clash between solidity and dynamism, and it is live on beIN SPORTS.
Mali’s progress to the Round of 16 for the fourth successive tournament did not exactly set the tournament alight. All three group games were drawn, with just two goals scored. Nevertheless, the group stage performance which included holding Morocco to a draw, was enough for Mali to finish in second. Fans will be hoping that Mali can move up a gear in the knockout stages, and it’s something that Mali’s coach, Tom Saintfiet, is keen to see happen.
“It is frustrating that we haven't won a match yet,” said Saintfiet talking ahead of Saturday’s game, “but everyone knows that tomorrow we need a victory. We have 90 minutes, 120 minutes, or penalties, if necessary, but we must find the back of the net.”
Saturday’s opponents have a considerably livelier time of it in the group stages with four points picked up and six goals scored by five different players. However, the five goals conceded in the process was the equal highest of the teams who made it through to the Round of 16.
