How and Where to Watch: The 2026 Mondo Classic on beIN SPORTS
Armand Duplantis, a GOAT of track and field, comes to beIN SPORTS for record-breaking pole vaulting action
Every now and again in track and field, a generational talent comes along and transforms the sport. Armand ‘Mondo’ Duplantis is one of those elite performers, an incredible athlete who is the undisputed GOAT in the sport of pole vaulting. The 26-year-old Swedish-American has dominated an event which combines strength and technique and will continue to surpass what was previously thought impossible live on beIN SPORTS on Thursday.
Duplantis will be the headline act in the 2026 annual Mondo Classic, a gala which brings the best pole vaulters in the world to Uppsala, Sweden with the simple aim of putting on a show in front of a sell-out arena crowd and breaking world records.
Pushing barriers higher and higher — literally in the sport of pole vaulting — is part of Mondo’s DNA. Between 2020 and 2025, Duplantis broke the world record 14 times, one centimeter at a time, leaving the current mark at 6.30m, a record that was set at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo. It was Mondo’s fourth world record in 2025 alone.

On Thursday, Duplantis will be joined by a stellar field in Sweden with world silver medalist Emmanouil Karalis and world bronze medalist Kurtis Marschall set to compete alongside the 2025 World Athlete of the Year.
Find out if athletics history will be made once again live and exclusively on beIN SPORTS.
