Lewis Hamilton enjoys a vacation in Hawaii with Kim Kardashian before returning to Formula 1

  • The Ferrari driver stepped away from the speed and the circuits for a few days to enjoy a very different getaway. Images from his break showed a rarely seen side of him just before returning to action.

A very different break for the Ferrari star

Before putting his helmet back on and returning to the intensity of Formula 1, Lewis Hamilton took advantage of the final days of the summer break to disconnect from the circuits.

The seven-time world champion shared part of his getaway in Hawaii with Kim Kardashian and members of the businesswoman’s family, posting a series of images that quickly went viral on social media.

From the beach to adventure activities

Hamilton and Kardashian made the most of the trip by enjoying different experiences. Surfing, walks on the beach and a game of paintball were among the activities featured in posts shared by both of them.

They also shared moments together by the ocean and a video in which Hamilton drives a vehicle across the sand while Kardashian rides alongside him.

The couple continued to publicly show a relationship that has become increasingly visible away from the circuits in recent months.

An increasingly public relationship

Hamilton and Kardashian’s closeness began attracting attention in late 2025, although their appearances together became more frequent throughout 2026.

The two were spotted at different destinations and events before beginning to share moments from their relationship more openly. Kardashian even accompanied the British driver at the Monaco Grand Prix, while Hamilton has also joined various family activities with the businesswoman’s relatives.

Now it is time for another change of scenery

Hamilton’s break is about to come to an end.

Formula 1 returns to action with the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, scheduled for August 21-23, meaning the British driver will have to leave the beaches behind and refocus on the decisive part of the season.

After using the break to rest, train and spend time away from the paddock, Hamilton will return to Ferrari with his focus firmly back on competition.
