ONE Friday Fights 141 Results: Samingdam Edges Komawut In War, Detchawalit Delivers 25-Second Knockout
ONE Championship kicked off the month in style, as ONE Friday Fights 141 thrilled the fans inside Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on February 6.
Samingdam NF Looksuan survived an all-out war with Komawut FA Group to claim a razor-close split decision in the flyweight Muay Thai main event. Elsewhere, teenage sensation Detchawalit Silkmuaythai destroyed Saw Min Min in just 25 seconds to record his third straight knockout in the bantamweight co-main event, and contracted teen superstar Johan "Jojo" Ghazali ripped through Ye Yint Naung in flyweight Muay Thai action to earn the unanimous decision nod.
Samingdam Survives Epic War
The main event delivered everything fans expected – three rounds of absolute violence between two Thai knockout artists willing to trade until someone broke. Samingdam NF Looksuan and Komawut FA Group turned Lumpinee Stadium into a battlefield, and when the smoke cleared after 15 brutal minutes, Samingdam walked away with the slightest of margins via split decision to extend his winning streak to four.
Komawut came out desperate, knowing another loss could end his ONE Championship run. The 26-year-old set the pace early with hard jabs and low kicks from distance, but Samingdam stayed patient and countered with piercing left hooks to the body. Round two belonged to Komawut – he dragged the fight into the clinch and unleashed slicing elbows and knees that shifted momentum decisively in his favor. The FA Group representative fought with the urgency of a man with nothing left to lose, pressuring forward recklessly and landing punishing shots.
Round three sealed Samingdam's fate on the scorecards. The 23-year-old discovered fresh energy when he needed it most, targeting Komawut's body with kicks that gradually pushed the veteran out of his attacking rhythm. Blood started flowing from Komawut's nose after a perfectly timed uppercut landed flush. Recognizing the shift in momentum, Samingdam opened up completely – he threw jumping knees and heavy haymakers every time his countryman tried to initiate the clinch. Those final three minutes swayed the judges just enough to deliver the split-decision victory, moving his record to 46-9 and extending his winning streak to four.
Detchawalit Delivers Instant Violence
Detchawalit Silkmuaythai needed less than 30 seconds to make a statement. The 18-year-old knockout artist demolished ONE Flyweight Myanmar MMA Tournament Champion and Lethwei star Saw Min Min with a brutal combination that left the Myanmar veteran unconscious on the canvas. That was his third consecutive stoppage victory in ONE Championship and showcased exactly the kind of killer instinct the promotion rewards with contracts.
The action exploded immediately. Saw Min Min came out aggressive, closing distance with a five-punch combination after early low kick exchanges. Detchawalit stayed composed behind his tight guard and created space for a devastating counter head kick that sent the 28-year-old stumbling into the ropes. The Myanmar fighter rose quickly, but he made a fatal mistake – he dropped his guard low when action resumed.
The Silk Muay Thai representative capitalized instantly. A rocket of a right hand smashed him right on the button, instantly putting him to sleep while his body collapsed to the mat. The referee waved it off at just 25 seconds of round one, improving Detchawalit's record to 49-5 overall and 3-0 on ONE Friday Fights. Three fights, three first-round knockouts – the teenage sensation is building momentum at the right time.
Ghazali Returns To Winning Ways
Johan "Jojo" Ghazali returned to the weekly series that made him famous and delivered exactly the kind of composed, technical performance that shows why he is a cornerstone of ONE Championship’s main roster. The 19-year-old American-Malaysian star outclassed Ye Yint Naung across three rounds, demonstrating boxing poise, brilliant counterstriking, and ironclad defense to claim a unanimous decision victory in their flyweight Muay Thai clash.
Like his compatriot Saw Min Min, the Myanmar debutant came out aggressively, chopping at Ghazali's lead leg and throwing heavy hooks designed to test the contracted fighter's defensive skills. Ye Yint Naung built early confidence with his pressure, but "Jojo" refused to get drawn into wild exchanges. Instead, the 19-year-old picked his spots carefully, landing clean body shots whenever his opponent overcommitted. The second round shifted decisively in Ghazali's favor as he found his range. Sharp jabs repeatedly snapped Ye Yint Naung's head back, and sharp elbows opened a cut that would become a factor. Body kicks landed with increasing frequency as the American-Malaysian teen sensation started imposing his will.
Round three erased any doubt about the outcome. Ghazali's technical superiority became impossible to ignore, as he flowed through combinations with the kind of polish that comes from training under ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon. Every time Ye Yint Naung threw wild shots, the teenager tucked tight and fired back with heavy strikes. Close-range work dominated the final minutes, with Ghazali landing clean until the horn sounded. The scorecards reflected total control – unanimous decision for the contracted star, pushing his record to 27-9 and launching his 2026 campaign with authority.
