Brandon Ingram to Replace Stephen Curry at the 2026 NBA All-Star Game
Brandon Ingram, forward for the Toronto Raptors, will replace Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors at the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, taking place this weekend at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Los Angeles. Curry, 37, will miss the event due to a right knee injury that has kept him out of the Warriors’ last four games, the NBA reported.
This was set to be Stephen Curry’s 12th All-Star appearance, where he would have joined the “Barras” team alongside stars like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson, Kawhi Leonard, Norman Powell, and Donovan Mitchell.
For Brandon Ingram, this will be his second All-Star selection. The forward is averaging 22 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game for the Raptors, who currently sit fifth in the Eastern Conference with 32 wins and 22 losses.
This year’s All-Star Game will feature a new round-robin mini-tournament format: two U.S. teams (Barras and Estrellas) will face off against a World team, followed by a final between the top two teams, replacing the traditional East vs. West matchup.
The 2026 NBA All-Star Game will be held February 13–15 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Los Angeles.
