Kim Huybrechts and Peter Wright were eliminated from Premier League Darts on Thursday's 'Judgement Night' in Manchester as Adrian Lewis and Raymond van Barneveld hit form when it mattered most.

Lewis and Van Barneveld, who boast seven world titles between them, headed into the latest round of fixtures under extreme pressure.

However, Lewis secured safety with a 7-5 victory over Wright in the penultimate match of the evening.

And although Van Barneveld - who won the Premier League in 2014 - threw away a 6-4 lead to draw 6-6 with reigning world champion Gary Anderson, a point was enough for the Dutchman to leapfrog Wright and condemn the latter to a place in the bottom two.

Huybrechts' exit from the competition had already been confirmed courtesy of a 6-6 draw with Stephen Bunting.

Michael van Gerwen remains top of the pile after maintaining his unbeaten record with a 7-4 triumph over James Wade.

In Thursday's other match, Dave Chisnall battled back from 3-0 down to beat 16-time world champion Phil Taylor 7-4 and move up to second in the standings.
