Star Bayern trio set for spell on the sidelines

In the 71st minute, Davies, who had only come on at the break, was forced off with what has now been confirmed as a muscle strain in his right thigh by Bayern's medical team.
The Canadian international had teed up Olise for his second of the match just seven minutes before being withdrawn, and he left the pitch in tears having already missed the start of the 2025-2026 season as he recovered from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
Musiala missed the first half of the season after breaking his ankle at the Club World Cup.
Bayern's impressive victory has all but ensured their place in the quarter-finals.
