Footballer posts footage of what it's like to have 8 million followers
Dutch footballer Demy De Zeeuw has posted video footage to his Instagram page of notifications appearing on his phone from an account with 8 million followers.
This, according to Dutch footballer Demy De Zeeuw, is what notifications from eight million Instagram followers looks like.
The former Ajax and NAC Breda player, who is currently off contract, posted the video on his Instagram page, which highlights the oft overlooked price of football stardom, a mesmerising stream of notifications sure to give even the most efficient smartphone battery a run for its money.
De Zeeuw wrote: "When you post epic content to 8 million followers worldwide, this is how your pushnotification (sic) will look like... "
The ex-Netherlands international, whose personal page has 88,700 followers, was referring to the football social network he is involved with - 433 - which boasts a whopping Instagram audience of 8,000,000.
We can only imagine what the notifications would be like for football royalty such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, who boast 44.3 million and 39.7 million followers respectively.
