Norris wins dramatic Dutch Grand Prix as Antonelli extends championship lead

Lando Norris claimed a dramatic victory at the Dutch Grand Prix, fighting back to beat championship leader Kimi Antonelli at Zandvoort and secure McLaren’s third consecutive win at the circuit. Antonelli finished second, with George Russell completing the podium, while Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc followed in fourth and fifth respectively. Max Verstappen’s home race ended in disappointment after the Red Bull driver crashed out on the opening lap.

The result sees Antonelli extend his lead at the top of the Drivers’ Championship to 59 points over Russell and Hamilton, who are tied on 183 points. Norris moves up to fourth with 159 points, ahead of Leclerc on 155, keeping the title battle alive with the remaining races of the 2026 Formula 1® season.
