Samingdam, Rungnarai Lead Loaded ONE Friday Fights 154 On May 15
ONE Championship returns to Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium with ONE Friday Fights 154, live this Friday, May 15 – and the card hits hard from top to bottom. The lineup features nine explosive Muay Thai and kickboxing matchups, and over a dozen athletes are hunting for the life-changing US$100,000 contract and global roster spot.
Two Rising Stars, One Big Opportunity
The main event pits two of the bantamweight division's most motivated young fighters against each other – and the stakes could not feel more personal.
Samingdam NF Looksuan, a warrior raised by parents who were both professional Muay Thai fighters, owns a 47-9 career record and finds himself on a five-bout winning streak. The 23-year-old will walk into Lumpinee Stadium with the full support of his NF Looksuan teammates and the momentum of a fighter who is peaking at exactly the right time.
But Yodphupa Petkiatpet is no feel-good story. He is a threat. The 22-year-old is a Road to ONE: Thailand Champion who holds a 71-14 record and a reputation as one of the most dangerous one-punch finishers in the division. The Thai is coming off a unanimous decision this past February, and he is eager to get more steam behind him.
A Two-Time World Champion Returns
The co-main event brings a different kind of energy.
Rungnarai Kiatmoo9 is not a fighter trying to break through, but rather a fighter who has already been to the top and wants to go back. The 30-year-old veteran is a two-time Muay Thai World Champion, having claimed the Lumpinee Stadium belt at 115 pounds and a Rajadamnern Stadium title at 108 pounds, and this Friday, he eyes his 63rd career win.
But standing across from him is a man with even more experience, Den Sitnayoktaweeptaphong. With a 196-49 professional record, his own gym to run, and a fighting family that shaped him from birth, Den shows up every time the bell rings. The 29-year-old Buriram native’s decision win at ONE Friday Fights 139 this past January keeps him in the contract conversation, and on Friday, he intends to remind everyone exactly why.
