Wolves midfielder Jean-Ricner Bellegarde has urged his team-mates to win their last two Premier League games of the season for the fans.

Wolves have lost 24 Premier League games this season, their most ever in a 38-game (or fewer) season in their league history.

Another loss against Fulham on Sunday would equal their all-time most defeats in a campaign (25 in 1964-65, 1983-84, 1984-85 and 1985-86).

They have won just 18 points in their 36 games this season, while their last win came on March 3 against Liverpool.

Wolves' final home game of the season sees them welcome Marco Silva's side to Molineux Stadium, and Bellegarde is determined to give the fans something to cheer about.

"It's obviously been a difficult season for everyone because we didn't win a lot of games, and we were relegated. But now we need to try to finish good," said Bellegarde.

"The aim from these last two games now is to just try and play well and see what we can achieve. We all want to finish good.

"We want to win for the fans because we could see it when we play away that the fans have been coming every time to support the team and we want to try to play good for the fans."

Fulham's European dreams are all but over after losing 1-0 to Bournemouth last time out.

Both sides received a red card at Craven Cottage, with Joachim Andersen sent off for the hosts.

Fulham boss Silva was disappointed with how his team reacted to the red card, urging them to play as they did before the dismissals when facing Wolves.

"We know in football, sometimes if you get a red card you have to be more careful. You have to be much more mature," said Silva.

"It became more like a game of basketball. That was the reality of the second half.

"We have to go back to the beginning of the game where we were clearly the best team on the pitch."

Although Wolves did not score in their defeat to Brighton last time out (3-0), Bellegarde offered some promise in midfield.

He created the most chances for his side (two), while winning 100% of his duels (3/3) and completing the most passes in the final third (seven) despite only playing the final 23 minutes.

Fulham – Raul Jimenez

Raul Jimenez is Wolves' highest goalscorer in Premier League history (40).

However, the Mexican is yet to score in any of his four appearances against his former side in the competition.

MATCH PREDICTION – FULHAM WIN

Fulham are looking to complete their first-ever league double over Wolves, in what is the 46th different campaign in which they have met.

Wolves have lost their last two Premier League games against Fulham, as many as they had in their previous 12 in the competition (W6 D4).

The Cottagers have won their final away league game in each of the last two seasons, last doing so in three consecutive campaigns between 2002-03 and 2004-05.

Fulham, however, have lost 3-0 against Arsenal and 1-0 against Bournemouth in their last two Premier League games – they have not lost three in a row without scoring since December 2023.

Wolves, meanwhile, have failed to score in a league-high 19 different Premier League games this season.

There have been just 10 previous instances of a team failing to score in 20+ games in a single campaign, most recently Norwich City in 2021-22 (22).
