Jeremy Doku has signed a new five-year deal with Manchester City.

The 24-year-old joined City in the summer of 2023 for a reported £55.5m (€65m) from Rennes, and his new deal will see him remain at Etihad Stadium until June 2031.

Doku has made 131 appearances for City, scoring 22 goals and providing 29 assists in three seasons under Pep Guardiola.

The winger has won one Premier League title, one FA Cup, one EFL Cup, the Community Shield and the Club World Cup so far, and he is keen to add more medals to his collection under Enzo Maresca.

"I have loved my time at City so far, so to have the opportunity to stay for longer is a fantastic feeling," Doku told the club website.  

"This club means so much to me – I have developed as both a player and a person. I feel settled here, and I know I am improving every day because of the work the staff here do.  

"It’s hard to explain just how much this club does to help players. I don’t take it for granted and it makes me better.  

"With Enzo here now I am really excited about the new season. His style of football is the kind we love, so that’s exciting for the players.  

"The City fans are also a huge reason I have signed this new contract. I feel their love and support, and it means the world to me. I want to focus of bringing them the success they deserve."

Since making his City debut, Doku has recorded more assists than any other player at the club (29), while only Erling Haaland (128) and Phil Foden (74) have directly contributed to more goals.

And among Premier League players, Doku has completed the most dribbles since his debut (278) and recorded the most take-on ending carries (311).

His 136 created chances are also the fourth-most among Premier League forwards in that time.
