Karius to sue Besiktas over unpaid wages
Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius will reportedly take legal action against Besiktas, where he has been playing on loan since the start of the season over unpaid wages.
Karius joined Besiktas in August 2018 on a two-year loan deal after the Reds snapped up Allison from Roma, and the 25 year-old is now set to take legal action against the Turkish club over unpaid wages.
The goalkeeper is reportedly owed more than $A1.6 million for four months of unpaid wages from the Turkish giant.
According to Bild, Karius now has the green light to take legal action after Besiktas failed to respond to a please explain from FIFA within a 10-day deadline, which expired on 2 March.
Karius has managed five clean sheets in 26 appearances in all competitions for Besiktas this season.
