Connacht remains stranded at a Russian airport after a fault with its plane left it unable to return to Ireland after its Challenge Cup match against Enisei-STM.
The Pro12 side, which won the game in Siberia 31-14, was scheduled to return home on Sunday (AEDT), but a technical problem delayed its journey.
On Tuesday (AEDT) it was still grounded at Krasnoyarsk Airport – more than 6,000 miles from its destination of Dublin.
Forward Aly Muldowney tweeted to say the players were "still stranded", though he later added that there was "light at the end of the tunnel hopefully".
Connacht's Twitter account had indicated that the team would take to the skies on Tuesday (AEDT), with a home Challenge Cup match against Brive to prepare for this weekend.
