Rogic stars in Celtic romp
Socceroos star Tom Rogic made a scintillating return to form for Celtic, with three assists and a number of other classy touches in the 6-0 rout of St.Jonhstone.
Australia midfielder Tom Rogic made a sizzling return to form for Celtic in its 6-0 rout of St.Johnstone, assisting all four of James Forrest's goals before almost producing a highlight reel finish of his own.
The Socceroos ace was in fine passing touch, linkng up with Forrest to devastating effect in a first half in which Celtic proved far too strong for the home side.
On the first play after halftime, the 25 year-old decided to have a go himself, beating half a dozen defenders and unleashing a fizzing shot at Zander Clark, who managed to parry it away.
Rogic was substituted just over an hour into the match, after a performance that will have Socceroos coach Graham Arnold brimming with confidence, ahead of Australia's international friendly against Kuwait on Tuesday morning (AEST).
