1) Real Madrid offer support for Ronaldo in tax fraud affair
Perhaps on alert and nervy over how a moody Leo Messi felt he was not supported by his club when the various tax fraud allegations went through court and ended up with the Barcelona man officially being given a criminal record, Real Madrid have moved fairly quickly to back under-fire Cristiano Ronaldo.
A day after Spanish authorities issued a lawsuit against the alleged Portuguese image-rights infringer, Real Madrid have issued a full-throated support of their player via an official communication published on the club’s website. "Real Madrid C.F. are absolutely convinced that our player Cristiano Ronaldo will prove his total innocence in this process,” read the statement.
Ronaldo has been accused of defrauding the Spanish state of $16m and the footballer’s management company, Gestifute, have issued a lengthy rebuttal 99.9% of which, Sports Burst simply doesn’t understand. But go knock yourself out and read this.
Or, instead, have a look at some brand-new kits! Real Madrid have officially released their 18 different versions for the new season – Nacho given the honors on leading the way -

Bayern Munich midfielder, Douglas Costa, is edging closer to Juventus with all parties involved seeming to think that a move is a very good idea indeed. And Gabigol…remember him…Las Palmas anyone? That can only go badly.
