Sunday's Rowing Cancelled As Wind Takes Over
High winds made conditions at the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon so bad that the rowing events scheduled for day two were cancelled.
Sunday's scheduled rowing at Rio 2016 was cancelled after high winds made the course unsuitable for racing.
The action at the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon had already been subject to delays before a decision was taken to cancel for the day.
That meant that events including the men's single sculls repechage, women's single sculls and men's coxless pair were all pushed back.
A revised schedule is expected soon.
