LeBron James Receives New Sneakers From Hero Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bryant signed his shoes after the Los Angeles Lakers' meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers and gave them to LeBron James.
LeBron James faced childhood hero Kobe Bryant for the last time in Cleveland when the Cavaliers beat Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, and he took home a special memento.
The Cavaliers triumphed 120-111 at the Quicken Loans Arena and the fans in attendance paid tribute to retiring NBA legend Bryant with chants of "Kobe, Kobe".
Earlier this week, James recalled a story from his time at high school when Bryant dropped by and gave him a special pair of sneakers which he used to play in a match against now New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony.
And James now has a new pair to add to his collection, as the giants of the game met up for an exchange of goods after the standard media interviews had been conducted.
In addition to James, Bryant has also signed shoes for Paul George, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green this season.
