Dani Pedrosa will face the media on Thursday at 16:15 local time (GMT +2) to discuss his future, with the media scrum broadcast live on motogp.com.
It was announced last week that Pedrosa would leave the Repsol Honda Team after their 13th season in the premier class together, with the three-time World Champion expected to reveal his plans after 2018 in his pre-Catalan GP debrief.
Switching the focus to on-track, the ‘Little Samurai’ has seven consecutive podium finishes at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, nine in his 11 MotoGP™ starts and 13 across all classes – including three victories.
“The Grand Prix of Catalunya is always special, because all our family, fans and friends come," says Pedrosa. "There is a great atmosphere and it is a very beautiful feeling. The track itself is very attractive, although demanding, especially for the tyres. You must work a lot on the suspension and tuning of the chassis to ensure that you have a good grip, because you spend most of the time inclined. We recovered part of the original layout and we have the last two downhill corners again, which are very beautiful.”
