Memphis Depay opened his Ligue 1 account for the season at the Groupama Stadium on Sunday with an inch-perfect free-kick.

The Netherlands forward, who scored 19 goals in 36 league appearances last season, got the second of Lyon's goals in a comfortable 2-0 win over Amiens.

Despite agitating for a move to a 'bigger club' throughout the summer, Depay has promised to give his full commitment to  Bruno Genesio's side should he fail to secure a transfer.
