Cristiano Ronaldo will not settle his alleged debt with the Spanish taxman ahead of his court hearing on July 31.
That's according to the company that represents the player, Gestifute, who discredited rumors that the Real Madrid star would pay the €14.7million Spanish prosecutors have accused him of owing.
The four-time Ballon d'Or winner is alleged to have created a "business structure" in 2010 to conceal his earnings from image rights between 2011 and 2014.
In preparation for his court appearance, Ronaldo has enlisted the services of Baker & McKenzie to lead his defense.
In the immediate aftermath of the story breaking last week, it was reported that an "upset" Ronaldo had expressed a desire to leave Spain, however, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez's radio interview on Tuesday - in which he defended his prized asset - is said to have pleased the iconic No. 7.
