U.S. Soccer Set To Name Bruce Arena as New Head Coach
The LA Galaxy coach is set to leave the MLS side and replace Jurgen Klinsmann as coach of the United States, marking his second stint with the national team.

Bruce Arena will be named the coach of the U.S. men's national team, sources tell Goal's Ives Galarcep.
Arena, who coached the U.S. during the 2002 and 2006 World Cups and won a record 71 games with the national team during a six-year stint, will leave the LA Galaxy to replace Jurgen Klinsmann. The official announcement will come during a press conference scheduled for Tuesday morning.
U.S. Soccer parted ways with Klinsmann following back-to-back losses to start the final round of World Cup qualifying, including a rare home loss to Mexico and a crushing 4-0 defeat in Costa Rica. He had been under contract through the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Arena, who has won five MLS titles with the Galaxy and D.C. United, had recently signed a two-year contract extension to remain in LA. However, it is unlikely the Galaxy would hold back the 65-year-old coach from taking the U.S. job.
