Aaron Jones and UTEP Roll Past NMSU in Battle of I-10

Aaron Jones compiled 249 yards and two touchdowns in UTEP victory.

The University of Texas El Paso (UTEP) kicked off its 2016 season in style with a resounding 38-22 win over New Mexico State University in the rivalry game known as the Battle of I-10.

Coming of injuries that limited his playing time last season, UTEP running back Aaron Jones was the standout performer compiling 249 yards and two touchdowns, including a 75-yard back breaker that virtually sealed the game for the Miners.
