Dafne Schippers Shines, But Omar McLeod Tumbles in Monaco
There was success for Dafne Schippers at the Diamond League meeting in Monaco, but Omar McLeod suffered a tumble in the men's 110m hurdles.

Dafne Schippers moved top of the women's 100 metre standings with a dominant victory in Friday's Diamond League meet in Monaco.
The meeting in the French principality went ahead despite Thursday's attack in Nice, in which 84 people died after a lorry drove into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day.
Dutchwoman Schippers, fresh from winning 100m gold at the European Championships in Amsterdam, was one of the star attractions and, in the absence of rivals Elaine Thompson and English Gardner, she had the chance to move top of the standings.
And Schippers, who also tops the 200m ranks, did just that by clocking a time of 10.94 seconds, with Jamaica's Veronica Campbell-Brown narrowly pipping Carina Horn of South Africa to second.
There was drama in the men's 110m hurdles as Omar McLeod - previously unbeaten in 2016 - suffered a fall and finished in last place, as Spaniard Orlando Ortega clocked a season-best 13.04 seconds to move top of the ranks.
In the men's 400m, world champion Wayde van Niekerk clocked a winning time of 44.12secs to move level with LaShawn Merritt - not in action in Monaco - at the top of the standings.
New Zealander Valerie Adams extended her lead in the women's shot put with a brilliant season-best throw of 20.05 metres, while nearest rival Tia Brooks of United States placed outside the top three in fourth.
Ekaterini Stefanidi won gold for Greece at the European Championships and continued to dominate in the Diamond League as she won the women's pole vault event by clearing a height of 4.81m.
Bohdan Bondarenko could only secure second in the men's high jump behind Italy's Gianmarco Tamberi, but the Ukrainian has the consolation of going top of the rankings.
World champion Asbel Kiprop endured a night to forget in the men's 1500m. The Kenyan could only place sixth in a race won by Ronald Kwemoi.
Kiprop's Kenyan compatriot Elijah Manangoi ran a season-best time of three minutes and 31.19secs and is now just a point adrift of Kiprop.
