Zhang, Bellis into Hawaii decider
Straight-sets wins for Zhang Shuai and CiCi Bellis saw the pair reach the Hawaii Open final.
Zhang Shuai and CiCi Bellis advanced to the Hawaii Open final with straight-sets wins on Saturday.
Zhang, the top seed from China, broke serve six times on her way to a 6-2 6-3 win over Russian Evgeniya Rodina in their semi-final.
Rodina won the only previous meeting between the pair in 2007, but there was to be no repeat in Honolulu.
Awaiting Zhang in the final of the WTA 125K series event is Bellis, the teenage American too good for Jacqueline Cako 6-0 6-4.
While Bellis is into her first WTA Tour final, the decider will mark Zhang's second as she looks to add to her 2013 Guangzhou title.
Sunday will mark the first meeting between the pair.
