Braaten wins freestyle gold
Norway's Oystein Braaten produced an untouchable opening run to take Olympic gold in freestyle skiing's slopestyle on Sunday.
The 22-year-old, whose philosophy is "ski or die" scored 95.00 on his breathtaking first descent, enough to stay top throughout all three runs of the final.
America's Nick Goepper scored 93.60 in his last run to take silver, ahead of Canada's Alex Beaulieu-Marchand with bronze.
The Olympic title adds to Braaten's success in the Winter X-Games, where he was slopestyle winner last year and runner-up in slopestyle and big air this season.
