German duo retain double luge crown
Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt of Germany retained their men's double luge crown with an impressive time of 45.87.
It was a tense final run for the German pair, who had to beat the time set by Peter Penz and Georg Fischler of Austria who ran just course in the fastest time.
However, they had to settle for silver as Wendl & Arlt kept their cool, retaining their Olympic title in the process. Compatriots Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken completed the podium, securing bronze.
