So plenty of tasty matches in prospect. Defending Champions Real Madrid will take on PSG, Whilst Barca taking on Chelsea is another one to look out for. As for the other English sides, Tottenham will have a tough test against last seasons finalists Juventus, Manchester City will be confident they can progress against Basel. Fresh from scoring seven Liverpool will look to progress against Porto whilst Manchester United will head to Sevilla. As ever, all the matches will be live and exclusive on beIN SPORTS.

When is the draw taking place?
The Champions League draw is set to take place on Monday the 11th of December at 2pm Mecca time. The draw will be held at UEFA headquarters at Nyon.

How does the draw work?
Two seeding pots will be formed: one consisting of group winners and the other of runners-up. No team can play a club from their group or any side from their own football association.
Who can the English teams get?
All five of the English Premier League sides qualified for the round of 16, a first in the Champions League. Seeing as they cannot play each other, and cannot play sides from their own group this leaves them with a limited number of teams to play in the knockout stages. Here we break down all the potential opponents.
Manchester United- Bayern Munich, Juventus, Sevilla, Shakhtar Donetsk, Porto or Real Madrid.
Chelsea- Paris St-Germain, Barcelona or Besiktas.
Liverpool- Basel, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Shakhtar Donetsk, Porto or Real Madrid.
Manchester City- Basel, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Sevilla, Porto or Real Madrid.
Tottenham- Basel, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Shakhtar Donetsk or Porto.
Who can Real Madrid get?
After finishing in second place in group H, Real Madrid who is aiming the lift the Champions League for a third straight season could be handed a tough draw- Potential opponents below.

When will the matches be played?
Seeded group winners will be away in the round of 16 first legs over the 13th /14th and 20th/21st of February. The seeded teams will be at home in the return matches which are set to take place on 6th/7th and 13th/14th of March. As ever all the Champions League action can be watched exclusively on beIN SPORTS.
