Krajicek joins Raonic team for 2017
Former Wimbledon champion Richard Krajicek has replaced Carlos Moya in Milos Ranoic's coaching team for the 2017 ATP Tour season.
Milos Raonic will work with former Wimbledon champion Richard Krajicek as he looks to break his grand slam duck in 2017.
Krajicek - who won at the All England Club in 1996 - joins a coaching team that has seen Carlos Moya leave and join Rafael Nadal's support staff.
The pair have previously worked together on a one-off basis and the Dutchman clearly did enough to convince Raonic to pursue a more permanent relationship.
"Today [Monday] was my first practice with Richard Krajicek. It's great to have Richard, alongside my team, for the upcoming season in my attempt to reach new and higher goals in 2017," he posted on Instagram.
"I worked with Richard for a few days already last year before the Australian Open and I am sure Richard with his experience and being a Wimbledon champion can help me reach my goals.
"I look forward [to] doing great things together."
Raonic has enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2016 that has seen him rise from world number 14 to finish the season ranked third behind Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic.
Under the guidance of Moya - and at times John McEnroe - Raonic reached his second grand slam semi-final at the Australian Open, before going one better at Wimbledon - the 25-year-old losing to Murray on both occasions.
Murray was also too good for Raonic at the ATP World Tour Finals as he was again beaten in the last four.
