Hazard: Conte Wants To Make History In England
Eden Hazard has given Chelsea fans a good reason to feel optimistic about the long term future of manager Antonio Conte after saying that the Italian "wants to make his own history in England".
Conte has repeatedly been linked with a move back to Italy with reports suggesting Inter Milan are willing to pay whatever it takes to land him as their new manager.
However in an interview with beIN SPORTS, Hazard claims Conte is keen to make his mark in England and gave his verdict on what his manager is capable of achieving at Chelsea:
"Everything! He make his own history in Italy, now he wants to make his own history in England so I think this kind of manager they are ready to win everything. He won a lot as a player, he will win a lot as a manager.
"He's a great manager. He just wants to work, work and win. He used to play before so he knows what to do. When he came the first week, he tried to bring the confidence up because with last season was a little bit difficult and he did well and we started the season well. We are working hard on the pitch, we train a lot and that helps for the game."
Speaking of his own season so far, Hazard said:
"When I'm on the pitch, I try to play instinctively. I'm more central this season than before and it's more difficult for the opponent to control me. For me it's better. Confidence is back and in football confidence is important so we are ready. We have six games to play now and we just want to finish well.
"Freedom is the most important thing. I know what to do, I go inside, I go out outside, because we train a lot so I know exactly what to do but not just me, the whole team. It does help a lot the team and that's why we win games now so it's good.
