Manchester City lose Aguero for a month
Manchester City will be without Sergio Aguero for a month and David Silva is also set to miss games after both suffered injuries on international duty.
Aguero was stretchered off after 22 minutes of Argentina's World Cup qualifier with Ecuador on Thursday because of a tight hamstring. He
told TyC Sports in Buenos Aires that he will need more time to recover than first thought.
"I think I'll be a month without playing," Aguero told TyC Sports in Buenos Aires.
In a statement, Argentina said the injury was a grade two tear.
Silva, meanwhile, sprained his ankle playing for Spain in Euro 2016 qualifying against Luxembourg on Friday and is set to join Aguero on
the sidelines.
City are top of the Premier League but now have just one recognised striker available in Wilfried Bony.
