Payne and Kearney both fit for Ireland's clash with France
Jared Payne and Rob Kearney are both available for Ireland's clash with France after training fully on Wednesday.
Ireland coach Joe Schmidt has confirmed both Jared Payne and Rob Kearney are fit for selection for Sunday's decisive Rugby World Cup Pool D encounter with France.
Schmidt's men take on France at the Millennium Stadium in match that will decide the winner of the pool and determine who will avoid a likely quarter-final with defending champions New Zealand.
Full-back Kearney and centre Payne both missed the 16-9 win over Italy four days ago that ensured Ireland's place in the last eight.
Kearney was rested with a gluteal strain and Payne missed out because of a bruised foot.
But ahead of the meeting with France, Schmidt said: "Jared and Rob both trained fully yesterday [Wednesday] morning and came through it well without any adverse reaction so both are available for selection."
