Warriors star Curry to miss at least one more game
Stephen Curry will miss at least one more game for the Golden State Warriors.
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry will be out until at least Friday as he continues to recover from a sprained ankle. The two-time NBA MVP has missed nine games with the injury, suffered in a December 4 clash against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Curry was re-evaluated Tuesday and will be checked again on Friday, the team said. Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Curry is making progress, and even played some four-on-four on Sunday, but he wants Curry to have two or three full practices before he returns. The Warriors play the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, then face the Charlotte Hornets at home on Friday.
Golden State are 8-1 during Curry's absence, and certainly do not want to take a chance rushing him back until he is 100 percent.
