Suns star Booker carried off court after groin injury
Devin Booker strained an adductor in an injury blow for the Phoenix Suns.
Phoenix Suns star shooting guard Devin Booker was carried off the court late in the fourth quarter in a 126-113 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday.
The team announced after the game that Booker suffered a strained left adductor (groin injury).
He will be further evaluated when the team return to Phoenix.
Booker had 19 points and eight assists before leaving the game. He had scored 38 and 46 points in his previous two games and is averaging 24.5 points per game.
The Suns (9-17) can ill-afford to lose their best player for any length of time. Booker has emerged as one of the league's best shooting guards.
