Love torches Heat for 32 points in first half
Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love was red-hot early against the Miami Heat.
LeBron James and Dwyane Wade may have headlined the Cleveland Cavaliers' clash against the Miami Heat – a team they won two NBA championships with – but it was Kevin Love doing all the damage early.
Love scored 32 points on 10-of-14 shooting in the first half. He also had eight rebounds and two steals. Even when Love missed, he still found ways to score.
The offensive outburst occurred almost exactly one year after Love posted 34 points in the first quarter against the Portland Trail Blazers. But he slowed way down, scoring 40 points that night.
James almost posted a triple-double in the first half Tuesday, scoring 16 points with 10 rebounds and six assists. Cleveland led 75-49 at the break.
