Lakers' Nance Jr out for four weeks
A bone bruise to the left knee sustained in last week's defeat at Charlotte has ruled Larry Nance Jr out for the Lakers for a month.
Los Angeles Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr will be sidelined for approximately four weeks with a bone bruise in his left knee.
Nance sustained the injury last Tuesday in a 117-113 loss at the Charlotte Hornets and was initially ruled out indefinitely.
Initial examinations were inconclusive because of swelling in the knee, but the latest diagnosis is set to rule him out for roughly a month.
The second-year forward is averaging a team-high 0.6 blocks per game, as well as 7.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in 22.4 minutes per game this season.
