Harden, DeRozan star in wins
The Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors enjoyed NBA wins thanks to their stars.
James Harden and DeMar DeRozan led the Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors respectively to wins in the NBA.
Harden had a double-double as the Rockets eased past the New York Knicks 118-99 on Wednesday.
DeRozan, meanwhile, finished with 40 points as the Raptors overcame the Washington Wizards 113-103.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls' perfect start to the season came to an end in Boston.
HELPFUL HARDEN
Harden's huge performance included 30 points, 15 assists and six rebounds.
Eric Gordon (21 points) and Montrezl Harrell (17) were also strong contributors, while Carmelo Anthony had a team-high 21 points for the Knicks.
DEVASTATING DEROZAN
DeRozan was 14-of-23 from the field for his 40 points for the Raptors.
John Wall (33 points and 11 assists), Otto Porter Jr. (23 points and 13 rebounds) and Marcin Gortat (15 points and 10 rebounds) all had double-doubles for the Wizards.
BULLS BEATEN
The Bulls had started the campaign with three straight wins, but that ended with a 107-100 defeat to the Celtics.
Amir Johnson and Isaiah Thomas each had 23 points for the Celtics.

THUNDER EDGE TO WIN
The Charlotte Hornets kept the Philadelphia 76ers winless with a 109-93 victory, the Brooklyn Nets overcame the Detroit Pistons 109-101 and the Los Angeles Lakers surged past the Atlanta Hawks 123-116.
The Memphis Grizzlies needed overtime to get past the New Orleans Pelicans 89-83 and the Utah Jazz claimed a 97-81 win over the Dallas Mavericks.
The Phoenix Suns edged past the Portland Trail Blazers 118-115 after overtime and the Oklahoma City Thunder battled to a 85-83 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
