The Cleveland Cavaliers' inconsistent recent form continued in the NBA, while the San Antonio Spurs extended their winning streak.

Despite LeBron James' double-double, the Cavs went down to the Washington Wizards 127-115 on Saturday.

The Spurs are having no such worries, making it four straight wins by overcoming the New York Knicks 106-98.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Utah Jazz thanks to Jamal Crawford.

WORRIES FOR CAVS

The Cavs' lead atop the Eastern Conference is just half a game after their ninth loss in their past 16 outings.

James – briefly wearing goggles due to an eye injury – had 24 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, while Kyrie Irving posted 23 points.

But John Wall (37 points and 11 assists) and Bradley Beal (27 points) saw the Wizards to their win.

SUPER SPURS

The Spurs did it easily against the Knicks.

Kawhi Leonard led the way with 29 points, while LaMarcus Aldridge and Pau Gasol both had double-doubles of 19 points and 10 rebounds.

Derrick Rose and Willy Hernangomez had 24 points for the Knicks.

CRAWFORD DELIVERS

Crawford contributed 28 points to see the Clippers past the Jazz 108-95.

The Toronto Raptors beat the Dallas Mavericks 94-86 and the Portland Trail Blazers had a 112-100 win against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
